Accomplishments - Train Brake Force Measurement System

Knightronix developed an automatic digital brake force tester with the ability to test brakes on eight freight-car wheels at one time. The system uses a rugged handheld computer to store the brake force data, which is later transferred to a desktop or laptop computer for printout or data plotting.  Braking ratios are automatically calculated and stored as well.
